Thanks to each and every one of you!

I am starting with  a small vignette

PART 5 7 B
Borivili to Vapi
Mumbai Ahmedabad Shatabdi
May 24th  Tuesday!
She settled comfortably in her seat. There was nobody in the seat in front. It was a window seat, she took her jooti off and lifted up her feet and slid it thru the crack between the seat and the window. The blue curtain was cold. She  adjusted her back to a comfortable position. The blue seats were covered with circular embossing with the letters “Bhartiya Rail-Indian Railways” in English and Hindi.
She smiled and touched a sign. It had been her friend for 8 years now, since she left home for architecture school.
He wore  tan six pocket trousers and a maroon tee with some UMASS lettering on it. He hadn’t shaved she noticed. She was at her door at  4: 52 AM. Ritu got the door when he knocked softly. Like he knew the teens might be asleep.
Kaki and khanak were in the back room, Kaki was doing pooja and the whole house permeated with the scent of agarbattis, there was also a soft ring of the hand held bell. Ritu smiled and hugged him

Shaan: Kya hua? Still sleepy? (rubbing her head)
Ritu: Nahi
Shaan: Is it Khanak?
Ritu: Ugghh I am supposed to hate you right now
Shaan smiles
Ritu: Not funny!
Shaan: You could move in with us if you like!

    :) Thank u AD ..... Keep going !!!! This is going to be my lifeline !!!! To shun off bad things i saw or heard !!! I wish i cud go back to a week back and let my memories stay there abt a certain someone !!! I did not see or hear anything !!! I am happy in the fictional world !!! Real life has enough challenges so i care a dam abt this jerk !!!!

    I am not sure if I will be able to tear away the mental image of KT and yet continue writing a good story. But will try my best!

    When it starts to fail I will wrap it up

    For now, during the day I am going to fantasize about a cute interaction at the station

    Lets see how it turns out when I pen it tonite

    Ad.. KT s mental image will not and cannot go !!!! His looks and style is the captivating thing !! just leave the rest !!! Make the most of what u saw in golden rbo period !!! I cannot imagine anybody as ur Shaan and i think it will be he same for u !!!! Just forget whatever happened the last week !!!! I know it ll take time !!! but pls try !!!! I cannot imagine a day without casa !!!! It s very difficult !! pls re !!!

    I cant wait to see what he said to her....how she reacted...He didnt shave..another face rub for the reminder till he meets her again...? LOL !

    Aditee, hey girl, chill yaar. You will forget about this fiasco soon. And maybe it will be funny after sometime. I have to say that Shan as a character is adorable, have to keep actor and character apart. Let it go girl. Your story rocks. Keep posting on IF too. Cannot keep track of so accounts and pwds :(.

    Hi Aditi, first congrats on your blog! :) I'll be logging onto this more regularly. Secondly, nice update but too short ( I know me never satisfied). Thirdly and most importantly, life as we all know isn't a box of roses. But its the thorns that make us appreciate the roses. Bad experiences only make us stronger. And if we didnt get hurt or disillusioned we'd never learn to cope with reality. I won't baashan anymore! :P .. We all face reality once we've logged off.     awww they're going to vapi! now i'm in love with this even more like it was even possible!:)

    all i do everytime i read this is sigh! every time i read this it makes me wish i knew/had someone like your shantanu. he is what they write of in stories not real.

    on a side note. i am curious now as to what is going on:\ is this all to do with just that toi article? or did somethign happen? if the former. then honestly. its just an article. what a person is or is not is not always to be judged by hear say. and plus like many have said its the character that everyone fell in love with. not the person. and if yet still the image isnt good for you. you can always think of karan kundra. he has the larger than life personality and plays well the quiet deep sortish.

    whatever it is. i hope you find your peace and happy place. and pleaseee update soon:)
